My understanding is
15x6
15x8
16x5
From easiest to hardest to find available on the resale market.

Re: 71 k5 4x4 original wheels

I don't think 15x8 were a factory option. They were available aftermarket (Kelsey-Hayes was a popular brand) and they continue to be a popular wheel choice today.

Edit: with 2 votes against me it's very possible that I am wrong. Others will chime in too. My wife constantly reminds me what being wrong feels like so it won't hurt my feelings to be wrong here.

Re: 71 k5 4x4 original wheels

yes the dog dish hubcap was usually the standard , and the full wheel cover was on the cst and optioned trucks , the 16.5 wheel didn't come with either

Dont mean to hijack the thread but I've been wondering what my 71 came with originally. The SPID lists 1P03AE CHROME HUB CAPS. Would this have been the full wheel cover?

JackB the 2nd 3rd and 4th digits are all that matter. The P03 caps are chrome dog dish caps.

My SPID lists P01. I'm guessing those were the full hub caps?
