With or Without

I'm getting ready to cut my new dash bezel (for the radio) and was wondering which looked better.
What do you guys think?
My interior is all black now except for what you see pictured. And the Garnet headliner and inserts in the seats.

Re: With or Without

I had that same delima with my truck. I ended up going with the black. I liked it even better after changing the steering wheel.

Black with the chrome trim rings is a really nice, timeless look. I dig it.

Personally I think the black looks better on any truck.

Re: With or Without

I'm leaning black, but it is a tough decision. It's one of those scenarios where both options would look really good and after you choose one, you think hmmm, maybe I should have gone with the other. I'm that way with wheel color on my truck, which is why they've been 3 different colors in one year!

Re: With or Without

I think I'll try the Black for a while and see how it looks. I'll keep the stick-on.
Thanks Guys
I finally got all the Mat down, it's allot of work doing it alone.

That's what I did too, in case I changed my mind. But I ended up selling it. I like it just the way it is.

Did you make your own Chevrolet carpet/floor mat?

floormatexpress.com

But their website has been down for awhile now. Here's phone number 1-888-554-0666.
What I got was the Velourtex Chevy C10 Standard Cab 1 piece Mat, in Black. But they also have embroidery options. That Chevrolet is a 60's style. Then choose an embroidery color, mine is white.

Re: With or Without

I prefer black. That's why I order(ed) my trucks that way.

I think it really pops with the accompanying red paint and/or interior.

Re: With or Without

I couldn't make my mind up on my truck. And I sure didn't want to cut into the metal dash. So I found a radio delete plate, which come in a couple of different colors. Black, black and black so I chose the later of the three. And installed my radio head unit under the drivers side seat. And handle radio operation by remote, it took about a month to master the remote. I wouldn't have any other way now.

Re: With or Without

I got it all installed, it wasn't easy doing it alone. I installed all the Fat Mat, New Speakers with the 6x9 mounts I bought in here. New Kenwood stereo.
New Steering Wheel , Seats, Dash Parts and other thing.

Here is a before shot and after so you can see how I matched the headliner to the seats.

Re: With or Without

Thanks Guys,
It was allot of work. The only problem with the seats is my head almost touches the head liner, (my short wife loves the height) they are at least 4" higher than the original ones. But the feel great on the down under.

Got it from LMC. The chrome rings are part of the bezel, they are not separate.
