This looks like a decent deal for someone.

Re: Houston Craigslist

I found it funny that it's described as all original and it's got a 69-70 hood.

Re: Houston Craigslist

I'm glad the seller mentioned it needed to be restored.. Ha. But that price is good to go! Cheyenne Super $1200 and it looks very restorable.

Re: Houston Craigslist

"Missing Title" could very well end up needing a bonded title and all that goes with it.

To me it looks like the typical "I just found this and want to flip it" ad.

Good eye. I didn't even notice the missing title. That seems important enough to put in the body of the description.

Re: Houston Craigslist

Thanks! It is what I do here...
The VIN presented is of course totaly bogus but a lot of ads are like that understandably. Still its a PITA to have to ask for the correct VIN.

Re: Houston Craigslist

Why go through the trouble to come up with a way to mount the tag on the grille when all you need are a couple nuts and bolts? I guess you can wire it to the grille so it won't flap around easier than the bumper. Anyone who reads the whole ad will see it has no title. I'd never buy something I didn't read the entire listing on.

There is a thread a thoughtful member started to post Craigslist findings. Great idea

Re: Houston Craigslist

the title being missing will affect what I would be willing to pay but I can get around that if the price is right or if I buy it for parts its not an issue. once I have a good look at it i'll decide if its worth going after.
if the majority of ac parts are still there they will go in my 67 and the rolling chassis would be the starting point for another project, worth the asking price or the $1000 I would offer. depending on the amount of rust in the cab and rest of the truck would parted or I would get a title for it
