Ever came across a 5 x 4 3/8" lug pattern?? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I have a older bass boat trailer that I am using the axle and such to build myself a decent utility trailer. Well it had 13" wheels originally but they were rusted pretty bad. So My BIL had some old steel wheels from a Mustang he used to have 5 x 4 1/2" 14". Problem solved I have some 14" tires, good to go, Right? wrong!!
Mounted the tires on the wheels, put the first side on no problem go to the other side wheel won't bolt up. WTH??????? Measured the lug spread on the rim 4 1/2" measure the hub on the trailer 4 3/8". How the heck did one wheel fit and not the other I ask myself. Measured it's a 4 3/8" rim. What the Heck??? Apparently he had a odd ball wheel mixed in with the wheels he had. Now I need to find another rim so I can get on with this project. So what kind of car has this bolt pattern? So I can look and find a rim. I don't want to have to replace the hubs. If I'm gunna do that I might as well buy a new axle cost wise.

What is an older dodge cars pattern? I was told it is 5 x 4"? anybody know??

It is all listed with metric. 4-3/8" = 111.1mm.

My kids 01 Saturn has 5X110 pattern, which would be pretty close.

I could be totally off, but I think that smaller pattern is standard for light duty trailers. I've had similar issues finding spare for both my light duty trailer and for my dad's 470 sailboat trailer.

Call some of your local truck & trailer type supply houses, they should have them, if not they should know where to go. Some of the larger Walmarts actually carry small trailer wheels/tires . Also a good lawn and garden supply shop should have them too.

I've been checking internet store trailer parts store but so far all I have found are 5-4 1/2" pattern.

How do these scammers figure there would be such a fool to not recognize this is a scam? I mean, a post about a lug pattern on a boat trailer gets brought back from 8 years ago to post nothing but a long list of totally unrelated products all typed in "link highlight blue". Is there a fool on earth who would forget what the topic was because they are dazzled by a list of links to products that popped up from, literally, out of the blue?
