In the planning stages of the swap and was wondering if it would fit. Thinking of a small vacuum booster.

That unit could be adapted to most of the "home done" frame swaps that aren't using their kit with a bit of ingenuity and fabricating.

You have to have the cab setting up off the frame at the right distance to make it work though.

The cost looks a bit high until one studies it a bit and sees bracket and pedals, booster, master cylinder and the combination valve all set up so all you have to do is put it in place and connect your brake lines. For a lot of guys who don't get a lot of hours to spend on their trucks each week that might not be a bad deal at all.

I just ran across that yesterday. You could use a hydro-booster from an astro van or calculate the size of the master for manual brakes.

My ongoing truck projects: 48 Chev 3100 that will run a 292 Six. 71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant. 77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
