Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II

Thanks for the complement. I purchased it from the original owner it is really clean in and out. I have a flip kit that came with it that I will be putting on it when I can find the time, soon I hope. I would like to also update the wheels and do a few other things but it my be a while I have to many other things I am also working on. Here's another pic.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II

I love it! It'll look good dropped. I probably wouldn't have picked those wheels if I were buying, but they look good on the truck. I'm a simple guy when it comes to dually wheels, though, the classic 10-hole style is always good enough for me.

Of all the different factory body styles available for these trucks, the CCSB dually is my ultimate desire. You're a lucky man. I can't wait to see what you do with it.

It's really cool to see trucks from outside North America, but your truck really has much more in common with the '73-'87 trucks sold here than the '88-'98 trucks. You might post over there. Those guys would love it.

Maybe it's just me but it looks like it has a lot in common with the mid nineties bronco. looks nice though.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II

Here is my '88 sub 6.2 diesel. She's got around 290,000 and running strong. Interior is all stock and looks like it did when brand new. I currently have a 2.5" spindle drop up front and plan to lower the rear an inch or so. 20's are in the future as well. No lower than this as it is my DD and tow rig.

It may look like it, but I don't think so. I think that's a South American body all its own.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II

looks nothing like chevy to me looks just like a ford body.

Onl thing other then the inside, wheels or the emblem that looks like chevy is the roof only and windshield maybe and like mentioned more like 73-87 but the lower body is ford all the way. Looks just like the 90 and older fords.

Nope. Not an Isuzu. It's based on our '73-'87s.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II

My '88 working a little......

And I had to add this 'one-off' Top Kick, built by my friend, to haul his little turbine powered beastie. There was no company back then making conversions. ( note the rear fender skirts, to clean up the large gap above the rear tire)
