BUT they are only temporary until i get the 20's i have been wanting for it forever lol. then they will end up on the 90

Re: Daily Drivers?

Here's mine. Owned it since April of '01, when I made a substantial down payment on it for the youngest sons birthday. He took it to California when he was stationed at Travis AFB. He brought it home in April of '07, and wanted to get rid of it...said he needed more room. So, after some money changed hands...he had my '00 Tundra and I had the GMC. This is the 4th set of wheels it has had....

IT seems to be a common theme among many on this forum! It appears some of use our Harleys as our main modes of transportation... The truck is the toy!

Re: Daily Drivers?

This is a thread to show 88-98 GM Truck daily drivers. I guess since some are showing their "whatever" daily drivers,it's fair for me to show a former daily driver that was a '95 K3500. It was in an accident or I'd still be driving it. I need to drive a truck for work to haul tools and materials:

Re: Daily Drivers?

Depends on the mood and what I am doing, sometimes its the Yukon and sometimes it's the 89 C1500. Currently the Yukon gets the nod as the pickup is getting repowered by a 5.3/4L60 drivetrain.

Just a few more parts and she will running once again.

Re: Daily Drivers?

Nice Porsche. My best friend had an '87 944 Turbo that he bought when he was 17. It was actually his second 944. His first was an '83 and he actually had them both sitting in his driveway together for a bit before he sold the '83. He bought them both with his own money that he earned. I loved the '87. He took it out to a Phoenix tuner named PowerHaus and had some work done. The thing was ungodly fast and still got 30+ mpg. He sold it long ago. He currently has a '92 968 triple black convertible.

Re: Daily Drivers?

I love the 944T but the stepper is keeping me out of jail. My second 944. It was the new car i always wanted in college My first was a NA ten years ago and I found this turbo without oil pressure for a good price last year. Spent most of the first six months I had it on jack stands in the garage. Now that is a runner I find it hard to drive like a grown up. Easy when you only get to sit in it making vroom-vroom noises in the garage. The stepside "bomber" let's me chill out and take life less seriously.

Re: Daily Drivers?

Due to the stupid gas prices I recently pulled this out of storage and started driving this one daily. I forgot how much I love driving this thing. It has a 4.3 with a 5-speed behind it.

I can totally understand that. I'd probably be getting myself in some trouble if I had something fast too.
