I have looked on YouTube and here. Anyone have links to a video or pictures installing complete side trim?

I’d be curious to see info as well. I may be inquiring a 61 without trim and would like to install.

Re: installing side trim/molding
Not any real tricks per say but I know for me the toughest one was the fender at the door. It helped to have one of the magnets on the end of the rod when you drop one of the nuts inside of the door.

Re: installing side trim/molding
If you are using Firefox or Chrome, you just need to download the photobucket fix they have. Then you can see all of the pics again.

Re: installing side trim/molding
My fenders had the holes, my replacement door did not, my cab did at the back. I ran a chalk line from tip of fender, through the cab holes and down the bed, keeping it straight and pulled tight, and then drilled the holes.

Re: installing side trim/molding
I installed my pieces. 15 of the 16 pieces are OG and one in new. I learned a bunch. It depends on who makes the molding and where you buy your clips. With several companies selling, and sourcing from different places, the options are near endless. The mounting set I used was from LMC. The hole install took about 2 hours. If this was a "show truck" it would have taken much longer.

Re: installing side trim/molding
I learned it depends on what product you use. The hardest part was getting the small clips in the skinny pieces. The LMC clips fit in two different ways. The clip should be horizontal and not vertical. Also make sure the clips ends can move freely before trying to press into body. If the ends are straight they will not cross each other.
