What to save switching to Vintage Air

It will be some time before I purchase the unit but I am going through my parts pile and am wondering if there is anything I may need to keep from my oem air conditioning parts that will be used when I switch over to Vintage Air. I'd like to clean up the garage and need to weed through all my stuff. Tired of tripping over things. Truck is a 67 GMC air cab. Thank you for your knowledge. John

I'm in the process of installing one now. I believe the only thing you use is the A/C dash control, and the side and center vent.

Thanks Z10 but after a look at your build I see your truck was a non air cab. There are plenty of different parts included in a air cab that you would not have had. Some of the questions I have are the vacuum controls on the kick vents and vacuum controlled flappers in the cowl area and any other related parts. Maybe should keep everything in case. John

I don't think so. You're entire system will come out. The Vintage Air box fits under the dash and is self contained. After you have it mounted and wired, you should only have to run the ducting to your air vents. Wish I mine would have been factory a/c it would have been simpler.
