Looking for some 8'' Front Springs

Looking for a set of 8'' front springs, really having a hard time finding them without buying a whole kit. I am thinking of swapping out my 6'' plu 1'' zero rate for a set of 8''. Also trying to decide if my hi-steer crossover will clear the arch of the springs ?????

Re: Looking for some 8'' Front Springs

Anyone have these springs and have crossover steering?? Wondering if drag link will hit the spring on a high steer setup? Pic of my current setup

Re: Looking for some 8'' Front Springs

I dont see why it would hit. If u remove the zero rate and add 8" then u actually gained a inch of clearance. Right now u have 7" of lift. Jack the truck up, put a stand under the frame. Now lower the axle and let the spring relax one inch, see what u have for clearance, That is basically what u will have for a loaded 8" spring, PLUS one more inch clearance once u remove the zero rate.

Yes I know this is not 100% acurate, but its the best u can do with what u got for guessing if it will work.

Re: Looking for some 8'' Front Springs

I spoke with off road design about there crossover steering. The guy said with 8"+ lifts you have to run a 3" steering block on the passenger side under the arm to keep the angle correct.

Yeah. That's something we didn't think about. The angle of the steering joints.

Re: Looking for some 8'' Front Springs

Bottom is mounted to the top of the spring plate and the top is mounted to some custom upper mounts I made, I have some more pics just not on this computer, I can get some pics tomorrow. Deaver or Alcan are pretty expensive from what I remember.
