Steel bed floor replacement

I have a long bed floor that looks like Swiss cheese, is there any company out there making replacement bed floor panels? I have seen a few that is just the back and I have only seen the front and back sections of the short bed. I've been knee deep in mud at the yards around me the past few weekends getting back to the trucks, just find worse beds then mine. Any info or vendor info would be appreciated.

Re: Steel bed floor replacement

LMC, classic discount parts, restoration performance are a few. I’m sure there are more.

Re: Steel bed floor replacement

Looking for a full floor replacement or weld in patch sections? I have several good usable and original GM floor patches listed to the 67-72 parts forum if your interested.

Re: Steel bed floor replacement

Either patch panels or full replacement. I have seen the complete bed floors for sale but haven't found any repair panels other then the rear half of the bed floor.

Bumped the thread to the top in the parts forum, should be easy to find. Maybe the patches might work for you. Good solid GM original meta, just some flaking paint topside and surface scale underneath.

Can't say much about LMC, have never ordered from them. Do a search using "LMC sheet metal" or "LMC floor patch" or similar wording, see what turns up. Good luck in your search.

Re: Steel bed floor replacement

rockauto sells them in two piece sections for the long and short bed. WAY cheaper than buying the one piece from other places.

Re: Steel bed floor replacement

I think that the half panels don't have the crossbars attached or included, while the "whole floor" piece does.

This is true, no supports included so that would be a bunch of work.... they are 197. each plus 120. in shipping (to my address so it may be more or less to yours) lands them to your door for 520 total. Full floor sounds better and better.

Re: Steel bed floor replacement

Wouldn't the original supports from your old bed floor work? it just bolts to them right?

you're assuming they aren't as bio-degraded (rusted out) as the bed floor being replaced.
