Thanks, would you use adhesion promoter and/or flex agent?

Honestly I plan on doing mine with spray cans with the dupicolor matching paint. I help a friend do a grill for his S10 that turned out really nice. But it didnt have the texture and wasnt as big either.

Re: Has anyone painted their ft lower bumper on a 05?

i have. my truck is a 06 1500 w/t, i hated the front and back bumpers,so i painted the back, the 2 front pieces and thhe pieces in between the headlights, debating on painting my tow mirrors, i wanted a HD, but didnt want to pay for gas ALL the time, haha, so idressed mine up like one with 3inch body lift, key lift, rear blocks, i say yes tho to painting it, looks so much better. its alot of sanding if you want a smooth surface,i just kept it textured

Did your truck come with that Red pinstripe or did you buy it somewhere? It looks good with the chrome across the lower panel!!

Re: Has anyone painted their ft lower bumper on a 05?

I think it may have came from the factory like this, otherwise not sure how they blacked it all out. I have a couple chips in the grill and bumper that I would like to touch up and would also like to know a good paint to use...

I would go to a body shop and see if they will scan the paint and mix you up a small touch up bottle. A regular paint shop will make you buy at least a pint.

Looks more like primer than paint. I like the looks of the truck tho.
