What RR do we have?

My friend bought this '59 truck and it has a bent rear axle. Before we can replace it, we need to know what it is.

I have the same axle in my '56. From what i read, it's a stock chevy rear end and has either 3.90 or 4.10 gears. There should be a stamping on the front, passenger side of the housing where the pinion is. Take a look to see what that is.
