02 silverado seats...

I got a nice set of 02 silverado seats, I pulled my bench seat out and set them in there (looks real good), but they are really high (I knew they would be) has anyone done a similar seat swap? If so could I get some step by step direction? Any help would be appreciated

I used to cruise this section all the time til I did my swap but still check out this section from time to time

Re: 02 silverado seats...

Pretty much need to make custom brackets. I'm 6'6 and have the exact same seats and I have read room to spare. No pictures of the brackets..

Re: 02 silverado seats...

i would like to keep the power to the seats and but lower the seats, and the seat belts, i thought of using the bracket to the stock seat but looking for other ideas as well, I've swapped seats before but it was a lot easier since they was just buckets

Re: 02 silverado seats...

I took the simple way on my truck, and used 04 Cavalier seats on the stock bench slider. It fits great, and leaves plenty of room behind the seat for a full back pack.

My truck is a K20, and they in my mind will be a great set of seats for my truck. They offer a lot of side bolstering so I don't just fall out, but not enough to keep me looked in when I need to look around. Plus a bonus the whole thing is 1/2 the weigh of the previous bench, and ride pretty comfy. At least for the 4 miles I traveled so far.
