3 speed adapter plate?

hello. im kinda new here and was wondering if someone can help me out? i'm wondering if anybody here has done an LS swap on there c-10, but used the original 3-speed manual tranny. is there anyone who is making an adapter plate to bolt it up to an LS?

My guess would be you would need to run a hydraulic clutch setup instead of the mechanical one.. I would imagine since we take the manual tranny from those engines and put them behind a 350, that the 3 speed should go behind the LS.

Just a guess though.

The original three speed will never take the torque that an LS puts out.
I have split gears in half with a strong 283.

I agree...I wouldn't use the stock mc318 behind an LS. Find a borg warner HD T-16 3 speed if you want to run a 3 speed on the LS. It is also fully synchronized. Was made for factory big block installs in the mid-late 60's.

I think there is the correct bell housing for doing this in the 67 to 72 for sale section.

For some reason this crossed my mind so I looked it up up one time. The 621 BBC bell housing is what you're looking for I believe.
