Question OLDS 350 ROCKET

I HEAR A LOT ABOUT PONT. IN ARE TRUCKS
ANYBODY OUT THERE PUT IN AN OLDS.
I HAVE DONE A LOT IN 80s TRUCKS REPLACEING
THE GRAET 5.7 DIESLS.
ANY INPUT FOR MOUNTS ETC.

Yes, I ran a 455 olds in the longhorn. I used the 5.7 deisel mounts /brackets,& stands from a late 70s truck. the combo will sit a little higher than the chev did,& required raising the rear of the trans also. As a thought,you might use a s et of 72BB stands to get the nose height down(then just use the rest of the pcs from a diesel truck).I also ran a set of BB cutlass headers,with a little minor notching at the lower lip of the frame rail.
