engine stand startup

Got her running briefly before the neighbors complain. It's a 355 gen1 vortec roller with lt4 hotcam. Should be good for 400hp crank. Also I will hookup a rudimentary fuel system for longer/efficient run times. And if anyone want to know why? So I can check for leaks, operation and prove naysayers wrong.

Re: engine stand startup

Since I can't watch the youtube videos right now....

What are the naysayers naysaying?

That you can't run an engine on a stand?

Or that your combo won't work?

Re: engine stand startup

Not sure who you're naysayers are, but running on a stand and the gen 1 with LT4 hotcam are both well proven combinations. Your naysayers are idiots. Kick em in the balls once from me will ya? LOL! Nice sounding engine man, you did well.

Re: engine stand startup

Put a set of cheap bolt on header mufflers on it since you have the headers and add a radiator so you have some coolant and you can break it in.

Re: engine stand startup

. Alot of people love the lt4 cam. The vortec heads and that cam will make for a killer street engine.
