belt routing

I am building a 350 and would like an opinion on belt routing. What do you gus think of this. The AC is a vintage air system

The alternator is one (1) groove, lined up with the outside groove of the crank.
All other pulleys are two (2) groove including the crank pulley

Will this work?

Alt. to WP to Crank, outside groove
PS to crank inside groove
AC to wp inside groove

Thanks guys

Re: belt routing

The a/c needs to wrap the crank also. The crank is what drives everything.

Re: belt routing

The OEM version has the AC belt just catch the PS pump + the crank. The PS pump main belt also wraps the water pump. The Alt also catches the water pump. But the OEM version has a 3 belt crank pulley.

The big issue I see with your idea is you are asking the Alt belt to drive the Alt + water pump + the AC indirectly via the red belt. And you don't have much touch area on the water pump drive belt. Probably get a lot of slippage.

My suggestion is either get a 3 grove crank pulley and use the OEM routing or swap out to a serpentine setup.
