1970 c10 STEPSIDE wheel suggestions? lowered 5.5/7 -5 lug converted

I'm wanting 17s or 18s. My truck is lowered 5.5/7. i used the CPP grand slam kit. everywhere i read people are saying something about the axle being wider in some years. How can I tell which axle I have, the wider one or the narrower one? If someone has pics of great looking 17 or 18 wheels on a stepside please post the diameter/width/backspace/rear axle width/tire size. I'd love to know whatcha got
this is my truck:

I see in the pics it has 5-lug Truck Ralleys. Did you do the 5-lug swap?

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

You have some good wheels right there. Put some rings & caps on with new larger tires & they are sharp as any.

5-lug housing swap from a 71-72 = wider rear housing.
5-lug axles from an aftermarket source could be obtained in either dimension.

You'll have to get a measurement for the distance between the T/A mounting pad on the bottom of the axle tube (@ its farthest point) to the brake backing plate flange. The wider rear housings will be longer here vs. the narrower units.
