need help with 71-72 3/4 ton rear wheel studs

the only part number I can find is Dorman 610-190, which I can't find anywhere....Summit doesn't stock it, nor does Jegs, and Ive tried Auto Zone, Advanced Auto, NAPA, and Car quest.

Thanks for the help!

Looks like Classic Parts USA has them. I was able to add them to a cart. Does not mean they really have them. Good luck.

I can get some locally, I think about 32 of them. They are somewhere between 3-4$ each. I'm on the left coast though

Re: need help with 71-72 3/4 ton rear wheel studs

and of course, they are the FRONT wheel studs. I don't understand why absolutely nobody sells the rear wheel studs for these damn trucks. This is the third set of studs Ive ordered for this damn thing and NOTHING is right. The closest thing was Dorman 610-188, but unfortunately, the splines don't extend all the way to the taper in the bolt, so it won't drop into the holes in the hub.....

Re: need help with 71-72 3/4 ton rear wheel studs

Saw your request, I went thru the same struggle trying to find appropiate wheel studs for my dana 60 in 1972 c20 truck. Check this site as there are visual wheel stud lengths, sizes, knurls . I used 610-189, they are 9/16 x 18tpi x .622" knurl and are 3" long, because I wanted to use the newer style gm aluminum wheel 8 bolt. The longer stud had to be used so I could put a wheel spacer behind wheel so that the cap would fit on top. The drum had to be drill as well; because of the longer knurl. Hope this site info will help Cheers http://www.billavista.com/atv/PDF_In...%20Catalog.pdf

thanks TwoTone....I actually tried the 610-188, but because the knurl doesn't extend all the way down to the taper, they won't drop into the holes. Im wondering if maybe the 610-292 would work. Allegedly the 610-190 was the original replacement, but they don't make that part number any more.

Re: need help with 71-72 3/4 ton rear wheel studs

not sure about the Raybestos...

Dorman #610-292. The only place I found them locally is NAPA, and they list them under a different part number, but the helpful sales guy was able to do a little research and cross locate the NAPA number...they are stamped "292" on the head of the bolt so you'll know if you have the right ones.
