Thanks Chip! Looking forward to going to the Nats for the
first time.(barring any unforeseen gremlins) last night I
decided to do something I really didn't want to do to the truck.....
I started installing door speakers, cutting holes was nerve wracking.

Any way's, looking forward to meeting you guys in person!
Have a good one!
Ben

well, cut the holes in my doors for the front speakers, got it done without issues. I'm still having Issues with Vibrations at 70-75 MPH though, I've just replaced the front pinion bearings and crush sleeve, thinking that was the culprit. wrong. I'm betting it's either the axle housing is bent, or my rear disc brake rotors have excessive run out.....any way's, I'm gonna replace the rear differential and axles (once I verify that the housing is not bent) I had the driveshaft computer balanced, new U-Joints, new steel Harmonic Balancer, the engine has been internally balanced, new flex plate. I may have to check the balance of my tires one more time, but I'm pretty sure the vibration would have been way before 70-75 MPH if it were tires.
Well, work calls.
Have a good one!

Vibration-the bane of my existence. Good luck, it's fun setting them up at Vic's!

It's been a while since I posted thought I'd better get to it. Since I got the vibration issue resolved, haven't been out cruising much, (too many overtime jobs sucking the life out of me and paying the tax man with all my efforts) I still have a few things that need done before I put her up for the winter.the oil pan gasket leak I gained after the Cam change, the biggest one, hoping to use my uncle's lift for that (Hate working on my back on the floor) other than that, just minor interior work, such as wiring up my subwoofer. One of these days I'll be able to take her out and stretch her legs.....besides driving to work and back.

Have a good one!

Re: Serious Black

Glad you're still alive! Good luck with the pan gasket, personal curse of mine.

Hey Chip! What's up? Not much here. I should have left my solid lifter Cam in there, I wouldn't be in this situation had I left well enough alone!
Have a good one!
