'76 to '86 Oil Pressure Problem

My '76 GMC has had an '86 SBC engine transplant. Here's my problem: I have a mechanical oil pressure gauge which is now plumbed to the oil port on the newer model engine - it works fine. However, I have an electric choke on my Q-jet, a la 1986, which is designed to receive power when the oil pressure switch makes contact indicating the engine is running. Of course in my hybrid setup I don't have an electric oil pressure sensor. Any good solution to this? I really don't want to change my mechanical gauge. Thanks!

Run a new 12v supply to your electric choke!
Should be a couple unfused ports on your fuse box.
