"Sway bars" were an option on 67-72 trucks.
And YES they do make a big improvement in the cornering.

if you are stock height on suspension, the sway bar will improve cornering. if the truck is lowered, you dont need it.....I tossed the one on my longhorn(excess weight),but its low enough that it corners flat........69 longhorn.

My 72 doesn't have one on it, and it tilts quite a bit on corners. If I was to buy a used swaybar, what should I be looking at? I have heard that any swaybar from 67-87 are all the same. Is this true? And, will it bolt right up with no troubles? I would sure love to have some better handling.
