Question about front shocks and springs

Hi all,

First, Thank you for any details you provide, greatly appreciated. I put the 3'' front and 4 inch back lowering kit (shocks and springs) on my 72 chevy. The front is a little too bouncy and was wondering if I went to the next size up on shocks, would it work and ok, or are those kits made only for the shock that comes with it? I have M1200G front shocks. Has anyone experimented with different shocks? I tried to post pictures, but I don't have a security token. I'll have to read up on how to get one. Thanks again.

I don't know who makes shocks for 3" drop exactly, but that is what you would need to look for so you have full travel of the shock. Does anyone make a stiffer/more HD version of 3" shock, ?????

If you post 1 picture at a time you won't get that security token mumbo jumbo. The thing to do is measure the shocks eye to eye sitting on flat level ground, with jack pumped up under tire- full compression, and truck jacked up at the frame- full droop. Those three measurements and bolt eye size are what you need to know to look for shocks that will work. A good vendor can look for those specs in what they sell. You can use any brand of shock available in that size/application
