soft tops for an 89 k5

i know bestop quit producing theirs but i am still trying to find one...anyone have any ideas?? thanx BBB

I have had a STC top on my 89 for about 5 years now and it is great. Here is a link to a review:

I have been told that they are in the process of being bought out by a company in Texas so it may take some research to find their current phone number.

yeah i have researched them, even tried calling them.....stc appears to be totally defunct now.....and i haven't been able to find who supposedly bought all their tooling for these tops........but thanx for trying to help!

I tried to do some digging online to find out who bought them and the only lead I found was the company MIGHT be moving things to Texas.. but that was late 2007 when they stated that so who knows who or where everything is at now...

I wish we could find them because if I ever did need to replace the top it would be nice to know they are still around.
