Support bracket

I am looking for anyone who has a picture of the support bracket that goes from the transfer case to the tranny. My truck is a 350 - sm465 - np241c.

The truck never had one and after a night of serious off roading I cracked the transfer case just above where the front drive shaft goes in. I got a replacement and the guy I got it from said the support bracket not being there might have been the cause of the crack.

I found one and it bolts to the transfer case fine but I think it was meant to connect to an automatic's bell housing and not a standard sm465.

Is anyone running this set up and could maybe post a pic?

THanks in advance.

Re: Support bracket

LOL... I know someone on this forum must have the same set up.

It may be that it is rare to have the SM465 connected to the NP241c.

I think most are 700r4 or TH350 connected to NP241c.

I just really would like to know what the bracket attaches to. On the automatic transmission trucks it attaches to the bell houseing of the trans. I have also heard people say that some models have them attached to the frame.
