Re: Stolen

It's not that bad here, but Carrol County is suffering from the Tyson growth. The illegal immigrant population is out of control.

Re: Stolen

Nice pickup. I could see why some one would steal it. That why I let my pickups look like crap. That's the excuse I'm going to use. Not because I'm to poor or any thing. In all serious hope you get it back. Or at least cach the thieves.

Re: Stolen

What efforts are being use to recover. Or did the local PD already throw the report into the round file. ?

Re: Stolen

Man...that's horrible.

I've had the unfortunate experience of having our car stolen ('62 Corvette), so I know the feeling the owner is going through.

There's simply no excuse to this kind of crap. Hope the owner gets their truck back.

Unfortunately you're right on this. It's "just" a stolen vehicle, and most PD have their hands full with other prioritized items.

Best thing the owner can do is saturate the social media outlets. Use all avenues, computers, television, newspapers, car advertising outlets etc....The individual himself/herself has to make it happen, otherwise it will be forgotten much too soon.

Re: Stolen

And to think the wife and I were thinking about moving back to Arkansas in a couple of years. Mena that is. My younger brother keeps talking about druggies stealing everything that is not nailed down there.

Re: Stolen

Arkansas has its spots. The area where the other Larry had his truck stolen and this one stolen as well has a huge population influx that Larry pointed to. Many are workers, many are not. The ones that are not cause a lot of trouble. Ruining a beautiful area of the state.

The Mena area is suffering from not enough jobs and too many drugs. There are still lots of great areas to live with low crime but you gotta pick and choose. I live outside the city limits of a very small town and we don't have much trouble out here.

Glad to hear the truck was recovered and I hope the thief(s) got to jail with some lumps on their heads. Hate thieves.

Time to research some anti-theft devices. Who ever is causing the huge increase of outsiders needs to pony up for hiring more LEO's. Period.
