lowering kit?
After looking for a short wide bed truck for awhile, I ended up with a really nice original 97 stepside. It has wide 15's on it and I intend to keep them and Ive never been into a lot of lowering (although I did lower my 68 2 1/2 /4) I am going to leave the front at stock height but I want to lower the rear a couple inches so that it sits level---Now, finally to my question---Can anyone recommend which lowering method/kit to get for the rear--and who from??? thanks guys.

Re: lowering kit?
if just leveling, look into a drop shackle. worst case, if you look under the rear at the rear leaf mount, there is a bed brace running above....some require notching a small section.

Re: lowering kit?
I purchased a 3/4 lowering kit from Accessory Partners LLC out of Arizona, great kit and the BEST customer service, actually called them and spoke to a human right away, he walked through exactly what I wanted and he shipped it next day, $225 for 3" front coils, 2" drop shackles and 2' drop hangers. in the process of installing now....

Re: lowering kit?
My buddy put 2" shackles on his truck and he had to notch out the cross sill brace.
