Removing hubs?

Hey guys!

I've been cleaning up / painting my 4x4 frame here. I wanna coat the part of the hubs that stick out, but I don't wanna get my frame coating all over the plastic part of the hubs. How tough is it to remove them to give the hubs a quick coat of zero rust?

Depends on what you have. 1/2 ton, remove the bolts and housing. Dial is held in that way. 3/4 ton, remove the bolts and housing. Dial is held in by a snap ring inside.
