Bought a new truck

Haven't been on here for a spell but fell into a new toy and thought I would share my 70 shortbed. Not sure how long it will be around but am digging it right now. Work in progress but has good bones and I got it right.

Re: Bought a new truck

They are always for sale.. 355 engine. 400 trans. 33x21.50 tires. not sure of gears. Have to inspect this weekend. got in late with it Sunday night and threw it in the garage. May keep it around awhile.. traded my corvette for it(hated it) had a dozen of these old trucks in the past decade. Usually just improve their quality and find a good home. Liking this old girl for some reason. Thinking it is the tubs and 4 link. Drives like crap and rides rough but I kind of like her. plotting some air ride to improve ride quality. Good winter project.

Re: Bought a new truck

You should be able to clean up the ride quality pretty easily.
My Corvettes were commuter my cars, this is my first old truck and gives me something to do besides mow the yard.
