Tailgate latch question
Were the chromed tailgate latch handles seen on some of our trucks a factory option and if so what year and package did they come with?

I'm pretty sure it was not a factory option but an aftermarket thing.

I believe they were a part of the Cheyenne Super package, not sure about the straight Cheyenne package.

From what I've read the 1971 Cheyenne Super package had a chrome handle and the 1972 Cheyenne Super package had a chrome cover on the handle.
