2002 Truck Seats

These just popped up on my local c-list. I've seen some guys on here using them in their trucks and they look like they fit well. Any idea if these are a good buy at $200?

Re: 2002 Truck Seats

There's lots of threads concerning those seats. If you're under 5'6" you may find them comfortable, but it's a tight squeeze and they look proportionally large in finished trucks. They reduce the distance to the steering wheel by a bit. It's really a personal preference thing. The plus side though, is the integrated belts.

Re: 2002 Truck Seats

I am putting those same seats in my truck. The seat bottom is about 2" closer to the bottom of the dash but the seat backs are not as thick so you get 1.25" of that back. So, sitting in the truck, you are 3/4" farther forward than with the bench seat with both all of the way back. I am 5'10" and it is more comfortable to me just sitting in it. (it isn't ready to drive yet).

By the way, these are the work truck seats. They are much better than the LS/LT seats in my opinion due to them being thinner.

Re: 2002 Truck Seats

Those are from the plainer trucks that don't have the folding console. They are close in price but I don't get near that for that kind. That money at my place would buy the upper trim level with folding console, but then again I sell my stuff mighty cheap. I just mainly use the sheetmetal when I junk one out.

Re: 2002 Truck Seats

I've been looking for a set of seats like these for the past year on craigslist for my Suburban project. $200 is cheap from what I can tell at least here in NJ. I'd buy them in a heartbeat. Maybe I need to take a drive to Arkansas and visit Hugger6933!
