Re: which column in 63 c10?

What I know:
1.Installing later model tilts is not easy due to the larger column diameter.
2. Keeping a functional E-brake is not easy w/ late model column (see #1 above)
3.using a tilt without power steering will break the tilt mechanism due to the force needed to turn the wheel at low speeds.
4. The good columns that fit well, from vans, motorhomes, late 60's early 70's are very rare.
5. I've done several but due to the p.i.a factor and/or less than satisfactory results I would use an Ididit or a Flaming River in the future. Check this http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=724273 and also see the f.a.q section at theotop of the daily postings page for some more info.
