Need Advise on Painting Black Center of 71 upper Trim
OEM upper trim was in good condition, and I plan to reuse it. Not looking for show quality but would like to tape it off and repaint the black, in the center. Any suggestions advise on prep for painting alum? Polish it as much as possible then tape it off? Easier to paint it when its back on the truck? Adhesion promoter? Black Epoxy and BC....Thanks in advance....Ed.

ive had good luck painting aluminum by scuffing with scotchbrite and cleaning it good...then spraying on etching primer and top off with a quality rattle can paint....
