Timed Out While Logged In?

Have had this happen before, typing a rather lengthy PM message to a member while logged in. Clicked on "read receipt" and then clicked on "submit message" when finished with the message only to read "You are NOT logged in....etc, etc.

Has anyone else had this problem? How do I over come it? Think and type faster sometimes is not an option when trying to compose a lengthy PM.

Ugh that drives me nuts when it happens. 99% of the time it is the remember me box. Log out, log back in but be sure to select the remember me box. Otherwise it times out for security reasons.

Liz, thanks for the quick reply, much appreciated. Will give that a try next time. Been here going on 17 years and STILL learning my way around, LOL. Guess not a quick study, huh?

I had been timed out before and figured out to tell the sign on page to remember me. Tonight I was looking thru a thread without signing on at all and had Norton security take me away from the sight saying it was unsafe, anyone had that happen ? In fact right now it shows not secure where it should say https.
