Can't vouch for the accuracy of the following... found it online from a reputable company, DENNIS CARPENTER :
FORD FUEL TANK SENDING UNIT - Part Number 99A-9275
6 or 12 volt. MUST USE ORIGINAL DASH GUAGES 14-18 OHMS FULL 88-94 OHMS EMPTY
w/ Float & Gasket also fits Mercury 1953 1954 1955

http://www.parts123.com/index/google...X-99A-9275.htm
Hope this helps,

Yes, but M/T street tires don't grow like eagle top fueler slicks. Not even close.
I am just curious about his goal with his build.
My 63 has stock wheel houses that I widened 4" and they have more than enough room all the way around for my 21" wide M/T. I like the stock sleeper look.
Some people put big wheel tubs in for visual effect.
Maybe he is going for the "back halved" effect.
The hood looks like it is off a pro stock.
I dunno. That's why I asked. It's an interesting direction he has taken.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?

Lowered the rear using the Jeep TJ rear springs, I also changed the trailing arms because the old ones were bent, new poly bushings too! Does anyone have a spare drivers lower shock mount that you don't need? Mine is junk.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?

Thanks for the kind words, I would have gone lower all the way around but this truck will be a daily driver and will see 10,000 miles a year.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?

Finally a cool front came through the great state of Texas where I could work on my 64 stepside I got in April. I got the rivets ground out to remove the rear crossmember and the spare tire holder so I can install a Mustang in the rear. Still have to do a little more trimming but proud to be able to get that done.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?

Went shopping. Bought new bolts and nuts for the rear brake backing plates and new rear axle bearings and seals. I also bolted up the backing plates, removed the old bearings and seals, and did a little touch up painting on the rear diff.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?

Had a horn/short and drain the battery issue. Tracked it down to a ground out under the dash. Got rid of extra wires and plug ins, wrapped and reconnected many wires. Everything is working!!! Electrical problems fixed! Fuel leak fixed! Broken bolt, removed! So interior paint and freshen up is next. Here are some shots from this weekend. gpk1961

No one bothered to tell me the bottom ball joint's have to be pressed in either a 10 ton press makes quick work of it only problem you have to take the bottom a frame out. There are some c-clamp that have a heavy duty bolt you screw down and it will push the ball joint up in there if the ball joint is smooth, but if has splines on it take it out and to a press it's the easy way to get it done IMO...Vernski
