*Gas Tank Cover*

I'm pulling the drivers seat out tomorrow to mount a new bracket and electric motor. While the seat is out I'd like to help hind the gas tank. Any ideas and pics would be appreciated.

They make fabric covers for C10 tanks. Maybe you could talk to an upholstery shop and see if they could make you a custom cover.

why not take some 1/8" plywood and build a custom cover. maybe even a shelf on top. then cover it with carpet that matches your floors. be creative.

Re: *Gas Tank Cover*

Thanks for the ideas guys. I'll be heading out to the garage in a while to pull my seat. I'm leaving the passengers seat in as it will adjust forward enough. The project has some interesting angles and curves to deal with. May need something that is pretty flexible. Just don't know yet. Whatever I come up with I'll post pics.

Re: *Gas Tank Cover*

Gas tank cover is in. I used the same carpet I used on the floor and it worked out great. At the top I folded the carpet over and shot self tapping screws into the 3 vertical braces.
