Also putting a little sound damping in. From calling all these companies and talking with them I only need 25% coverage per area. That's is what they all have told me. And this stuff is heavy.

This is all I used on the drivers door. A sheet and a half. A solid thud on the door the door is solid sounding and heavier. So we will see how it does.

You talk about pain in the ass itty bitty work changing the exterior door handle was no fun. Worried the clip would fall off the entire time. But patients and a good old 90 degree pick did the trick.

Wow that is a lot of nice rigs

Curious does the red square have a build thread, I really like it.

Simple Green is turning out very nice too, well done.

Lmao. It was just tedious work. Plus my little boy bouncing off the walls wanting to play. But it all worked out.

Idk. That isn't my pic. That was posted by the previous owner. I just took his thread over and kept on posting cause the truck is mine and didn't see any reason starting a new thread.
And thanks for the complement.

Man what an amazing transformation over the past 2 years. I bet the OP is proud you have done so much to better the truck without losing the classic appeal. Good job buddy!

Argh, my bad.

As much times as I've spent in this thread, I never realized that you purchased the truck and continued this thread. Must've been too busy drooling at the pics of this awesome truck.

That said, I'm glad you continued to keep the thread going and really appreciate all the updates/pics.

Outta curiosity, did you drive or trailer it home when you bought it? Was it advertised for sale or did you just hit up the previous owner? Super clean truck that you somehow continue to find things to improve on it.

Lol. You are not the only one who didn't notice it. It's all good. I figured I would keep it going seemed like a couple of people liked the truck before I got and seems like a few more like what I have done. I was going to drive it home but after looking at the distance 14 hrs I said no. I flew out to TX and had transporter show up about 2 hrs after I bought it. I knew I was going to buy it as long as it was what Robert said it was. Which I had a gut feeling it was so I went ahead and had all of this scheduled before I flew down. He had it on another website that has listings for vehicles for sale the title was Thinking. Sent him a email and we emailed txt and spoke on the phone a few times. It was a month or 2 later it was headed Back to TN. It won't leave TN I have more in it than anyone prob would pay but that's OK with me lol cause I bought it to keep.
Thank you I started off with a good truck from the jump but had a vision of what I wanted to make it. So far so good!! I still feel I have a good balcane of old and new with staying true to the original. But I appreciate everyone taking the time reading and looking at how the truck has evolved over the past 2 years. And I am still not finished so keep reading and looking. Lol.

All proof that a great truck can be improved upon. I'm looking forward to the new interior shots. Are you following JWall's thread? The pedals he used would look right at home with the upgrades you've started. Borrowed from his thread:

Yes they can be. Honestly I don't follow anyone's threads I do read and look over them but I don't follow them. I don't t want anything to influence or stray me from my vision. But I agree those would look nice. Now I am going to have to pm JWall and find out about them. Thanks Timber!

Re: 1976 Square "Simple Green"

So I have had my replacement door panels for a few weeks. I took them out of the box but never took them out of the plastic. Well opened them up cause I thought I would use the Precision beltlines on it. The door panel came with it on. So I assumed it would be the same as the original. Nope. The door panels has the beltlines riveted onto the door panel o well. No biggy for now.
