This is what I accomplished this weekend. Well...Not all of it. I did get the Be Cool radiator installed and..of course...worked on the wiring some more! Here are several pictures of the engine, radiator, and front end.

One last picture...Several have asked about my rollcage. I still haven't been able to get a good picture of it, but here are a few early one.

Wiring can be a pain but it's worth the headaches.

Yes...That's a SW Cage. I made a few mods and didn't add all the pieces. Very happy with the final results. I had the rear kick downs bent at a muffler shop since I didn't want them running all the way to the top bar. I had it powdercoated black at a local shop and will have padding all the way around when it's done.

Shooting to have it in the body shop by April. Going back with the Hugger Orange...Always loved that color!

Looking absolutely great! The Herculiner sure looks nice. I'm considering doing something with my Blazer's floor once I get done with the K20.

I picked up the billet dash from a board member that fabricates them. His name is Javiar Sanchez with J&J Engineering. (626) 446-2368. Very nice product. Everything fit perfect and I'm very pleased! Give him a call or drop him a private message. He's had several discussions on this board regarding these. In addition, he can also fab some custom glove box doors....They just didn't fit my application.

Just a couple of teaser pictures. Here is the current status...It has been a long time coming. The paint is complete (although...that's a picture for later) and we're currently trying to mount the bumpers. The paint shop is in the process of trying to fit the front grill....What a PITA!!! Should be ready to move to the interior shop next week and then the stereo shop. I started off doing all my own work, but have been really busy with work lately, so I've resorted to have the experts finish her up.

These are a few photos just before paint. Tires are 36x14.5...so we did a little fender massaging, front and rear. The passenger side had to be completely replaced after finding over 3/4" of bondo. Pics of the new paint to follow soon!

Should have the bugs worked out this week and all the guages calibrated and hooked up. I'd love to do this work myself, but work is keeping me busy, sun up to sun down plus some. Anyways, the interior and stereo go in next week. I'd say that I'll be driving it by weekend after next. I'm pretty excited. I've only driven it a total of 5 miles since purchase. Basically I drove it home and parked it...then drove it around the block and tore it apart. Been working on it for three years. My wife is even excited...We have a standing date for the local drive in once she's done!

A kit from S&W. I didn't actually install all of the bars and had a few custom bent to meet my needs, but the kit had more than enough pieces to do exactly what I wanted. The front of the cage is actually attached, via a block, to the front windshield frame. During the body work, we found that there was still some play in the front bulkhead area. The cage tie really tightened up everything.

The GOOSE is alive! Finally got here out of the upholstry and stereo shop, just in time for a car show here in Lubbock. Didn't build her for that purpose, but while she's all shiny, I'll take advantage of it. There was only one other Jeep Willys in my category, so I was guaranteed at least second place!

I took first, which was way cool. Will post more pics later. Still working out a few bugs.
