Paint question/door panels

Is there a code for the black on the metal door panels? I am debating on going back black or color matching to the door.....yet to decide.

The code for 1970 can be found HERE and I suspect it's the same for other years.

Back then black was black. When I used to paint black repairs, I always used a pre-packaged black which needed no custom tinting.
For interior colors, the sheen is the most important. If you paint those door panels with a high gloss black it won't look right and you will scuff it anytime you get into the truck. You want a satin or semi-gloss (not flat)

This is the best product I've found for satin a black finish. Been using it over 30 years and always had excellent results. You can buy it in quart cans as well as spray cans, but for a large piece like a door panel I wouldn't use the spray cans. It's also excellent for engine components because it gives the parts a factory looking finish.
