Finally finished! 72 cheyenne

Well I finally feel like I am finished with this truck. I updated the AC a little bit and got it blowing cold and after driving it I knew the truck had set and would probably start leaking a few things but boy did it ever... new fuel pump new every gasket there was but finally got it under control. Truck is showing 53k miles and we believe that is correct. The history on the truck is original owners sold it to a body shop and it say and never got worked on. The guy I know bought it repainted it said it needed no body work and only did the outside. Interior needed carpet and seat cover and that was it. Then went to his friend and sat and I traded him my 96 Silverado and some cash and got it. Its by far my favorite color and looking forward to finally taking it to some shows! I have to say I kind of miss it on the rally wheels!

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Finally finished! 72 cheyenne

Very nice....great color, nice truck.
I must say tho'...I like the pic of the truck with the regular/height stance and the rallies (with the forest backdrop).
I think one of the reasons is that now everyone literally is lowering their trucks and putting oversize wheels on them.....so now 'stock' is the (cool) oddity in my books. Just my two bits tho'.

Regardless....very, very nice truck and nice work on it!!

All Good

Re: Finally finished! 72 cheyenne

I kept all stock parts and even have a 2/4 drop for the truck and brand new rally's ready to go. Its really tuff to decide what look I like best.

Re: Finally finished! 72 cheyenne

That looks really great! Either wheel/tire combo looks good to me. I'd keep both setups and just swap them out when you want.
