Re: Ansen Rims

If they are GM truck pattern they would be a solution for anyone swapping to 5-lug disc...just like that one, and what most guys did back in the day. So what if the lug patterns are different? You're not rotating big/littles anyway. Or are they all same width? Either way, so you have to compromise a little to gain some old school wheels. How many miles will the truck be driven before the tires dry rot? Tires these days are like ethanol, use it or lose it

American Racing bought the rights to the Ansen Sprint design years ago. They currently make that wheel in 15 and 17 in diameters with 5x5 or 6x5.5 in lug patterns. Get them almost anywhere, including Summit Racing.

Re: Ansen Rims

Tire selection, mostly. I'd like to stay with the 15's and probably a fat/skinny setup.

Re: Ansen Rims

I like classic wheels in classic sizes. Contemporary sizes kill the look/defeat the purpose for me...Torque Thrusts, steelies, Cragars, slots, rallyes, etc. Something lost in the translation. I like what I like and am fine with others liking what they like. I can only see through my eyes (which unfortunately operate with this brain )

Re: Ansen Rims

Myself, I like the 15" deep dish slots. That would be 8 & 10" wide. My first set of slots were that very size on an old truck. Nothing else would do. I still feel that way. I don't think you can get that wide deep dish with the new Ansens can you?

That's what makes the world go round. It would be boring if everyone liked the same things. Hopefully see you at Spring Carlisle.
