my 69 Big Block baby...

I have been working on this project for a while but have not been able to get much done to her because of work and family responsibilities but I will put as much as I can think of and update as I go...this was a little over a year a go when I brought her home...

this is what I have done to it so far, it came with a low mileage 454 with open chamber heads, I bought a set of rebuilt 396 heads and some basic internals as well as externals such as a comp double roller chain roller lifters, performer cam, weiand stealth intake rebuilt holley and a few other things you should be able to see from the pics, I have also installed a 5 lug suspension from an 85 pickup to get the 5 lug swap and the better control arm bushings

If I remember my Paul Bunyan stories, he got strong by lifting his cow a little bit each day. Doesn't work in the real world, but:

I find if you go out and do -something- to get started you'll make a little progress. So even if you're busy and have an hour, it can be cathartic to go out and make progress, no matter how small. And if you do it every day, eventually you'll be done, and not have stressed along the journey or rushed.

That is so true! Just filling your spare time with little "projects" on your big project helps whittle it all down.
