Gauges for AD Truck

Wanted to try and make some custom gauges for my 49 GMC. What I'd like is a electronic speedometer in one hole and a tach in the other. For fuel, water volts and oil press will be below the dash.

Here's the artwork laid out in Autocad

Ordered a programmable speedometer and tach from Speedhut - they would'nt give me a cad drawing of the LCD window for the odometer, so I'll have to wait for the actual speedometer and measure it for the drawing so the window can be cut in the correct location.

Once I get the final dimensions of the window, the plan is to have the gauge face lazer etched and stuff the factory housing with the Speedhut aftermarket gauges.

Any experience out there with making gauge faces? Indirect lighting?
