Have a 74 bench out of a gmc, will it fit an 88 without modification?

Id throw a tape on it to make sure it would fit but im thinking that the mounts will need to be worked.

Years ago I swapped seats with a friend with my '91 and his '83. The seat out of his truck was an aftermarket bench with the fold-down center console and he took my factory '91 bench. If I recall correctly, the outer mounting holes were the same width from side-to-side between the trucks.
