Inner Cowl Blower Motor Mount Alignment

How does one get this part properly aligned? I had to remove it to weld up rust holes where it originally mounted. Now I’m worried I’ll get it put back on in the wrong place and then the fender will never line up properly.

Does anyone have dimensions on where the fender/cowl mounting holes should be located?

Related question: I need a new inner cowl due to rust. Do the new ones come with this piece?

Re: Inner Cowl Blower Motor Mount Alignment

So, nobody ran in to this when re-attaching their inner cowl panel?

With shims, I'm assuming that left/right adjustments would be easy. It's the front/rear position I'm worried about getting right.

I have my 68 torn a part if you want some measurements. It's factory you can tell by all the rust!

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Inner Cowl Blower Motor Mount Alignment

Thanks for the offer there.

I ordered a replacement so when it arrives I’ll look and see if it has the bracket included or not and then see how I need to attach it.
