1969 C10 Steering Box

Is there an off the shelf upgrade for the c10 trucks or is Borgeson the way to go with respect to steering boxes..

Not currently a customer of red head steering gears yet, but I have yet to read a single negative review on this company on this forum, only positive reviews.

I really like the Delphi (borgeson) steering box that I put on my '72 Corvette. It's smooth and has a nice center feel. I think the reputation is it's a little light duty for a "truck". That said, many C10's aren't really worked like a truck anymore.

There are a couple Saginaw rebuilders, like the one mentioned, above that basically blueprint their boxes. It will drive like it did new.

Then there is rack and pinion conversions. I have no experience but can;t imagine them anything but light duty use.
