LMC Core support filler panel

Hi,
I'm looking at getting one of these as shown on the top of this page:
http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/cb/full.aspx?page=86
I'm wondering if anyone else has and their opinion on it.
Thanks!

Re: LMC Core support filler panel

I bought a set of these, found out about them here on the boards. They are great and really help direct the air through the radiator. Hope it also keeps the bugs off the underside of the hood.

Re: LMC Core support filler panel

Been thinking about making those out of aluminum, stainless steel, and pollished stainless steel. Just wondered what kind of market they would have. WES

Re: LMC Core support filler panel

Hey Wes. Everyone that sees them really like them. I think they would be a good underhood detail item to sell. Might not appeal to the original guys but I feel there is a pretty big market for them. Really easy to install also. Just our opinion. Thanks, Fred.

I think they look great. Who else makes them besides LMC? I refuse to order from them.

Re: LMC Core support filler panel

We have made them in the past on a one on one basis for custom cars and trucks. Not sure if their is a real big market for them. They are fairly simple to make. If LMC can sell them for their asking price we might start producing them.

I'd be in for a set... satin black if possible... if not I'll just paint them.

119.00 for alum. isn't all that bad.. if the polished is the same price, they could lower the other 2..
have some of you priced alum lately..

its not bad but its not a great price. We fab stuff out of aluminum since we a are a fab shop. your looking at 10.00 to 12.00 in material cost for mill grade aluminum buying in qty. stainless would cost about 3 times that if polished
