1st Post !
Here is me fathers 71 C-10 with what we believe are 68 front end an bed. 255 60 15 fronts, 275 60 15 rears Rear frame is notched an the truck rides like a caddy. Far from the ride harsh ride I get from my lowered VW Bus. |

We were told by the PO they were 68 parts. We have seen a couple things on the truck that makes us think the marker lights were filled in ..... Both doors do not have holes to mount the rear view mirrors. The tailgate seems to be too smooth. |

Ripped some heated coils out and installed 2.5" spindles and 2" springs. Also did the lca mod to gain caster. Had to "massage" the upper spring pocket as the coil also moves forward when the lca moves . After that a little work all fits great. This is with 15x8 torque thrust II and 235/60x15. The tire/wheel combo will do for now but I see changes in the future. Once I get the bed back on I'll post up more. A couple of pics...

Both trucks are a night an day differance in the driving. I think I like the ride of me Dads lowered one.

Lovely truck and oh so loving the split window. I own a 75 Baywindow, 75 Split window bus (13 window) although they dont regard them as German buses as they were bits and pieces of Brazil and German buses but assembled in South Africa and also a 66 beetle...
