VIN question

Hey all...bought a mess of parts from a boy who had plans to do a build and gave up. Amongst them were a GMC cab and supposedly the matching frame. The cab VIN checks out, but the only # on the frame is 9B827526...any clues what that is or what it's from?

Re: VIN question

My guess would be a 79 frame built in Baltimore with the sequential portion being 827526.

That's all you can learn; you can't tell model or wheelbase or option content from the sequential portion of the Vin.
